So we had to go away last weekend and boarded Maple at day care. This is the picture one of the workers sent me on the morning we were going to pick her up with the caption, “See you in a little while, Mom!”

I’m sitting here, on the porch, reading. She’s on my foot. Maple just loves that physical touch connection with me and I have to admit – it’s pretty fab.

She’s so happy because the dam is finally thawed. She thinks she can go swimming now, but that won’t be until July at the earliest because the water is sub-zero. I’m not gonna tell her that, though. Heehee
