#mugShotMonday 1.18.2021

Welcome to Mug Shot Monday, where I show you one of my favorite mugs and you ( hopefully) show me one of yours!!!.

Today’s theme is mugs that have your name on them.

This was thing in the 80’s, that most narcissistic of decades. This mug happened to belong to my mother in law and when she died, my father in law gifted it to me. It was kinda cool she and I had the same name and nickname! Whenever I drink from it, I think of her, her sweet smile, and what a wonderful person she was.

So, do you have  name mug? If so, show it to me in the comments section below, and have a great Monday!

Until next time peeps ~ Peg

  1. I don’t have a name mug, but I do have a mother-in-law one. Mom gave me this one to take with me when we left, and told me to keep it. It rides in the glove compartment of my car, even though Mom’s been gone nearly five years. It’s a way she’s still with me. I don’t know how to put a picture here, but thanks for the reminder!

Oh wow, that’s kinda cool about your same names. I have a Jennifer mug my ex-boyfriend got me. Still use it. 🙂

Jennifer – her name was Margaret Patricia and mine is MArgaret-Mary, but we were both only ever called Peggy, Even weirder? Larry’s father’s name is…Larry. So whenever the four of us went anywhere we were always introduced at Larry and peggy and larry and peggy.

My favorite mug is one my best friends got me while they were in London. It has quotes from Jane Austen all over it. I love it!

I don’t have a name mug among my extensive collection. But, thinking about mugs – people who visit have favorite mugs at my house. No wonder I have so many.
