A July recap…what a month! #writinglife

I don’t usually do recap blogs because I’m always moving forward and looking in my rearview, but July 2022 was a BIG Month for me, so I decided to take a quick look back just so I could bask again in everything wonderful that happened to me, career-wise.

Indulge me, please, lol.

ROMANTICON 2022 was held on July 15th and I had the best time. It’s been a Covid-minute since I was able to attend a book signing and this one was fabulous, so fab, I’m already signed up for next year’s event!

July saw the publication of my first KISS romance book. A PRIDE OF BROTHERS: RICK & AIDEN became KISSapp-worthy, opening my work up to a whole new subculture of romance readers.

Another wonderful honor for A PRIDE OF BROTHERS: RICK was to have it be turned into an interactive romance game under the Chapters App – and again, I now have an entire new fan/reading audience who are romance gamers. Who cool is that??? They changed the title to UNDER HIS PROTECTION and I’ve had a ball playing the game so far. New chapters are uploaded every Sunday morning.

I had a Cover reveal for my upcoming Dickens Holiday romance, SASHA’S SECRET SANTA with NN Light’s Bookheaven this month. It was so exciting introducing this cover because I lovelovelove it so much! Preorder links will go up soon!

New Chapters are LIVELIVELIVE in UNDER HIS PROTECTION a @chaptersgame #romanticsuspense

I love Sundays for so many reasons, but right now it’s because on Sundays new chapters in my interactive game UNDER HIS PROTECTION drop into the romance gaming world. The game is based on my award-winning romantic suspense book from The WILD ROSE PRESS, A PRIDE OF BROTHERS: RICK

Have you been following along? I have and it’s my story, hee hee. But the gamer makers have changed some aspects so It’s fun to see where they take the characters. They change the physical characteristics of the characters, too, which is fun for me. You can choose what you want the h/h to look like, wear, say, and do.

Have you been playing along on my new interactive game, Under his Protection? I have and it’s a hoot!!!

UNDER HIS PROTECTION is based on my romantic suspense book from the Wild Rose Press A PRIDE OF BROTHERS: RICK. If you read on your phone, you can also read the book on the KISS app.

Here’s the official game blurb and two of the choices you can have your H/H if you play the game:

Can you tell I’m over the moon excited??!!! HEE HEE

Today, Crazy Maple studios released my interactive game on their gaming sight!!!! yes, a SUNDAY release. The comments from the gamers have been amazing so far!!!

I can’t believe I HAVE A VIDEO GAME from one of my books!! Well, not a video game, but an interactive one. You get to choose how the characters look, what they wear, what they say and do based on the premise of the book. The game is based on A PRIDE OF BROTHERS:RICK – one of my favs!

YOu have to download the Chapters Interactive app, here’s the link:
https://chaptersapp.onelink.me/Fopm/20068 and then type in either my name or the title UNDER HIS PROTECTION. The first chapter is free to play!!! I just did it on my phone and then my iPad to make sure it worked and it did and I had a ball. The way they manipulated the content of the book is pretty amazing.

Honestly, my life is now complete. Hee hee
